Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rebecca by Fred Tomaselli was auctioned at Christies in London in September this year. The price achieved of USD 8,820.00 (€ 8,333.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Tomaselli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Organism in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 735,650.00 (€ 914,651.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rebecca von Fred Tomaselli kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.820,00 (€ 8.333,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Tomaselli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Organism im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 735.650,00 (€ 914.651,73).
