Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Fred Mitchell was sold in the Contemporary Part I and Part II auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,186.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Fred Mitchell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work Arbor was auctioned for USD 20,400.00 (€ 19,147.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fred Mitchell wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.186,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Fred Mitchell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai diesen Jahres die Arbeit Arbor für USD 20.400,00 (€ 19.147,74) versteigert.
