Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Tyrolean Characters by Franz Xavier Wölfle. The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 2,147.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Franz Xavier Wölfle have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2003 the work A Tyrolean gentleman smoking a pipe; and Another of a Tyrolean gentleman with a feather in his hat was auctioned for GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,714.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tyrolean Characters von Franz Xavier Wölfle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.390,00 (€ 2.147,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Franz Xavier Wölfle konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2003 die Arbeit A Tyrolean gentleman smoking a pipe; and Another of a Tyrolean gentleman with a feather in his hat für GBP 2.585,00 (€ 3.714,79) versteigert.
