Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work A farmer in traditional dress by Franz Xavier Wölfle for EUR 360.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Xavier Wölfle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Tyrolean gentleman smoking a pipe; and Another of a Tyrolean gentleman with a feather in his hat in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,714.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A farmer in traditional dress von Franz Xavier Wölfle für EUR 360,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Xavier Wölfle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Tyrolean gentleman smoking a pipe; and Another of a Tyrolean gentleman with a feather in his hat im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.585,00 (€ 3.714,79).
