Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work I Will Always Love You, from 21 Etchings and Poems by Franz Kline for USD 7,620.00 (€ 6,902.17). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Kline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 40,402,500.00 (€ 31,054,957.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I Will Always Love You, from 21 Etchings and Poems von Franz Kline für USD 7.620,00 (€ 6.902,17) erwerben.
