Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Étude pour "Conte de Pistils et d'étamines" by František Kupka was auctioned at Christies in London in March this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 100,344.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 65,000.00 – 95,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Kupka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,551,600.00 (€ 8,871,184.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Étude pour "Conte de Pistils et d'étamines" von František Kupka kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 100.344,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 65.000,00 – 95.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Kupka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.551.600,00 (€ 8.871.184,71).
