Upper estimate price exceeded by 90 %.
This artwork by František Kupka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Study for sold for EUR 95,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Kupka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,551,600.00 (€ 8,871,184.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von František Kupka erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Study for für EUR 95.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Kupka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jaillissement II (Tryskání II) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.551.600,00 (€ 8.871.184,71).
