Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reclining Woman by Frank Lobdell was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,800.00 (€ 5,895.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Lobdell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black Edge II in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 264,000.00 (€ 196,238.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reclining Woman von Frank Lobdell kam im Februar 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.800,00 (€ 5.895,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Lobdell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black Edge II im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 264.000,00 (€ 196.238,76).
