Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Selected Images by Frank Gohlke. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,895.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Frank Gohlke have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Selected Images was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,397.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2008 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images von Frank Gohlke zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.895,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Frank Gohlke konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2010 die Arbeit Selected Images für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.397,08) versteigert.
