Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images by Frank Gohlke was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in June 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,085.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Frank Gohlke have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Selected Images was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,397.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Frank Gohlke kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.085,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Frank Gohlke konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2010 die Arbeit Selected Images für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.397,08) versteigert.
