Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Relief Couleur 8 by Francisco Sobrino. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,321.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Francisco Sobrino have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2020 the work Permutationelle M was auctioned for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Relief Couleur 8 von Francisco Sobrino zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.321,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Francisco Sobrino konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2020 die Arbeit Permutationelle M für USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27) versteigert.
