Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2020 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Francisco Sobrino. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,692.52). Admittedly, works by Francisco Sobrino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Permutationelle M in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Francisco Sobrino zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.692,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Sobrino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Permutationelle M im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27).
