This artwork by Francisco Sobrino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in September 2021. In the New Now auction, the work Structure permutationelle B-11-G sold for USD 23,940.00 (€ 20,678.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Sobrino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Permutationelle M, which sold at auction in March 2020 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francisco Sobrino erzielte im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Structure permutationelle B-11-G für USD 23.940,00 (€ 20.678,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Francisco Sobrino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Permutationelle M beobachtet, die im März 2020 für USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27) versteigert wurde.
