Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin Título by Fernando Canovas was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,014.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Canovas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 49,393.80).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.014,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
