Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art, which included the work Paisaje Trans...Gredido by Fernando Canovas. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,421.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fernando Canovas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 49,393.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paisaje Trans...Gredido von Fernando Canovas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.421,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fernando Canovas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 49.393,80).
