The work It's Raining by Fan Ho was auctioned at Phillips in London in November last year. It achieved a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,760.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Fan Ho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Approaching Shadow, 1954 in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,340.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit It's Raining von Fan Ho kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.760,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Ho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Approaching Shadow, 1954 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.340,73).
