Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Classic Photographs, which included the work 'Windows Pattern' by Fan Ho. The price achieved of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,544.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fan Ho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Approaching Shadow, 1954 in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,340.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Classic Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Windows Pattern' von Fan Ho zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.544,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Ho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Approaching Shadow, 1954 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.340,73).
