Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Out of the Ark by Erik Parker was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 94,500.00 (€ 85,188.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Erik Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Big Time in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,654,000.00 (€ 433,808.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Out of the Ark von Erik Parker kam im März letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 85.188,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Parker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Big Time im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.654.000,00 (€ 433.808,22).
