Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Christies in Shanghai held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Sale, which included the work AMAZING by Erik Parker. It changed hands for a price of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,208.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 450,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erik Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Big Time in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,654,000.00 (€ 433,808.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit AMAZING von Erik Parker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.208,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 450.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Parker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Big Time im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.654.000,00 (€ 433.808,22).
