In March this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Same Song by Erik Parker. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 952,500.00 (€ 111,528.01), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erik Parker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Big Time, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 3,654,000.00 (€ 433,808.22).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Same Song von Erik Parker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 952.500,00 (€ 111.528,01) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Erik Parker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Big Time beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 3.654.000,00 (€ 433.808,22) versteigert wurde.
