The work Vermont In November by Eric Sloane was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,632.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eric Sloane; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vermont December sold at auction in March 2008 with the realized price of USD 55,000.00 (€ 34,799.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vermont In November von Eric Sloane kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.632,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eric Sloane; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vermont December im März 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 34.799,11).
