The work Vermont In November by Eric Sloane was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,632.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eric Sloane; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vermont December sold at auction in March 2008 with the realized price of USD 55,000.00 (€ 34,799.11).
