The work November Sunset by Eric Sloane was sold in the American Works of Art auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,200.00 (€ 10,426.25), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Sloane - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vermont December, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 34,799.11).

Die Arbeit November Sunset von Eric Sloane wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion American Works of Art bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 10.426,25) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Sloane mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vermont December beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 34.799,11) versteigert wurde.
