The work Alpine Morning by Eric Sloane was sold in the An American Summer auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2021. It achieved a price of USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,744.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Sloane - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vermont December, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 34,799.11).

Die Arbeit Alpine Morning von Eric Sloane wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion An American Summer bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.744,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Sloane mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vermont December beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 34.799,11) versteigert wurde.
