The work Alpine Morning by Eric Sloane was sold in the An American Summer auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2021. It achieved a price of USD 15,120.00 (€ 12,744.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Sloane - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vermont December, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 34,799.11).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 12.744,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Sloane mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vermont December beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 55.000,00 (€ 34.799,11) versteigert wurde.
