This artwork by Eric Orr achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2017. In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Tahoe #1 sold for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,512.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Orr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Other Side of Green, 1988, which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,119.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eric Orr erzielte im Juli 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Tahoe #1 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.512,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Orr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Other Side of Green, 1988 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.119,29) versteigert wurde.
