Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Pattinatrice Ii by Emilio Greco for USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,163.74). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emilio Greco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande Bagnante II in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 260,500.00 (€ 205,215.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pattinatrice Ii von Emilio Greco für USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.163,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Greco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande Bagnante II im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 260.500,00 (€ 205.215,06).
