Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Figura Seduta No. 3 by Emilio Greco. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,696.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Greco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Bagnante II in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 260,500.00 (€ 205,215.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figura Seduta No. 3 von Emilio Greco zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.696,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Greco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Bagnante II im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 260.500,00 (€ 205.215,06).
