This artwork by Emilio Greco achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2019. In the 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective auction, the work Head Of Woman sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,274.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Greco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Bagnante II in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 260,500.00 (€ 205,215.06).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Emilio Greco erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective wurde die Arbeit Head Of Woman für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.274,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Greco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Bagnante II im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 260.500,00 (€ 205.215,06).
