Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piccola bagnante dorifera by Emilio Greco was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,907.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Greco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Bagnante II in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 260,500.00 (€ 205,215.06).
