This work without title by Emil Bisttram was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,593.89), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Bisttram achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Storm Over Taos (Stormy Mountain Scene) in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,213.31).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Emil Bisttram wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.593,89) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Bisttram erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Storm Over Taos (Stormy Mountain Scene) im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.213,31).
