Admittedly, works by Emil Bisttram have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Storm Over Taos (Stormy Mountain Scene) in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,213.31).

Die Arbeit Roaring Twenties Gotham: Three Drawings von Emil Bisttram kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.958,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Bisttram auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Storm Over Taos (Stormy Mountain Scene) im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.213,31).
