Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Winter Evening 48 x 56 in. (121.9 x 142.2 cm) framed 49 x 57 x 2 in. by Emil Bisttram for USD 2,176.00 (€ 1,994.87). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Bisttram achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Storm Over Taos (Stormy Mountain Scene) in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,213.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Bisttram erzielen.
