Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rooftops And Bay by Elmer Nelson Bischoff was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 134,500.00 (€ 95,518.78). Admittedly, works by Elmer Nelson Bischoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Cliffs in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 564,800.00 (€ 440,115.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rooftops And Bay von Elmer Nelson Bischoff kam im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 134.500,00 (€ 95.518,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elmer Nelson Bischoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Cliffs im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 564.800,00 (€ 440.115,33).
