A top price for Elliott Puckette - as previously expected
This work without title by Elliott Puckette was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in November 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,541.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Elliott Puckette that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Elliott Puckette wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 29.541,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Elliott Puckette, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
