Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,054.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Wolfe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Curtis Thomas in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,053.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape with vineyard von Edward Wolfe kam im April 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.054,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Wolfe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Curtis Thomas im Juli 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.053,27).
