A top price for Edward Wolfe - as previously expected
The work Portrait of Curtis Thomas by Edward Wolfe was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2006. The price achieved of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,053.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait of Curtis Thomas is the most expensive artwork by Edward Wolfe that we have observed at auctions so far.
