Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Washington/The City Beautiful/Pennsylvania Railroad by Edward Mason Eggleston was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,408.00 (€ 1,289.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Mason Eggleston - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atlantic City, Pennsylvania Railroad, which sold at auction in November 2011 for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,648.12).

Die Arbeit Washington/The City Beautiful/Pennsylvania Railroad von Edward Mason Eggleston wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.408,00 (€ 1.289,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
