Despite a disappointment, a good price for Edward Mason Eggleston
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Atlantic City, Pennsylvania Railroad by Edward Mason Eggleston for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,648.12). This price was achieved in the auction Travel and Vintage Posters at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Atlantic City, Pennsylvania Railroad is the most expensive artwork by Edward Mason Eggleston that we have observed at auction so far.

Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Atlantic City, Pennsylvania Railroad von Edward Mason Eggleston für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.648,12) erwerben.
