In the First Open | Online auction, the work Salammbo sold for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,615.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Doug Ohlson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Doug Ohlson (1936-2010), which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,347.57).
