Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Do-Ho Suh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June 2021. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Flower sold for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,202.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Do-Ho Suh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Some/One in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Do-Ho Suh erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Flower für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.202,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Do-Ho Suh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Some/One im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
