Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work The Announcement Of The Death Of Josef Stalin, Dynamo Factory, Moscow, 6Th March, 1953 by Dmitri Baltermants. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,250.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Dmitri Baltermants have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Grief (Ditch of Kertsch) was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,114.76).

Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Announcement Of The Death Of Josef Stalin, Dynamo Factory, Moscow, 6Th March, 1953 von Dmitri Baltermants zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.250,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Baltermants konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit Grief (Ditch of Kertsch) für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.114,76) versteigert.
