Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dmitri Baltermants achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April 2010. In the BRIC Theme Sale auction, the work Yuri Gagarin with family sold for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,911.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dmitri Baltermants; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Grief (Ditch of Kertsch) sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,114.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dmitri Baltermants erzielte im April 2010 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion BRIC Theme Sale wurde die Arbeit Yuri Gagarin with family für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.911,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Dmitri Baltermants; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Grief (Ditch of Kertsch) im Oktober 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.114,76).
