Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2007 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Dike Blair for USD 3,900.00 (€ 2,947.85). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dike Blair - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2013 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,166.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2007 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dike Blair für USD 3.900,00 (€ 2.947,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dike Blair mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.166,79) versteigert wurde.
