Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dike Blair could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work The Melting Snow is Odorless changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,253.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dike Blair - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2013 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,166.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dike Blair konnte im September 2011 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Under the Influence wechselte die Arbeit The Melting Snow is Odorless für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.253,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
