Sold at the upper estimate price
In April 2018 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Toshiba by Dike Blair. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,277.79), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dike Blair - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2013 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,166.79).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Toshiba von Dike Blair zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.277,79) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dike Blair mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.166,79) versteigert wurde.
