A top price for Dexter Dalwood
This artwork by Dexter Dalwood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2007. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale (Morning and Afternoon) auction, the work Brian Jones' Swimming Pool sold for GBP 144,000.00 (€ 213,474.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. This high result makes Brian Jones' Swimming Pool the most expensive artwork by Dexter Dalwood that we have observed at auctions so far.
