Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lord Lucan, 2010 by Dexter Dalwood was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,857.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dexter Dalwood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brian Jones' Swimming Pool in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 144,000.00 (€ 213,474.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lord Lucan, 2010 von Dexter Dalwood wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.857,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dexter Dalwood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brian Jones' Swimming Pool im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 144.000,00 (€ 213.474,83).
