Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dennis Hopper achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October 2020. In the Photographs auction, the work Andy Warhol and Members of the Factory sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,952.09) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Hopper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 158,724.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dennis Hopper erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Andy Warhol and Members of the Factory für USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.952,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dennis Hopper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 158.724,06).
