Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Piano by Dash Snow for USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,872.34). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dash Snow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Piano von Dash Snow für USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.872,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dash Snow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
