Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Hell) by Dash Snow was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,600.00 (€ 12,683.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dash Snow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Hell) von Dash Snow wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.600,00 (€ 12.683,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dash Snow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
