Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Six works: (i-vi) Untitled by Dash Snow was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,924.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dash Snow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Six works: (i-vi) Untitled von Dash Snow wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.924,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dash Snow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
